A quiet house
in Lapa, kept
for guests.
Casa Aldeia da Lapa is a small family-run guest house inside a historic Portuguese stone village, a short walk from the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lapa.

One house, one village, one quiet welcome.
Casa Aldeia da Lapa began as a family house, tended and slowly turned over to guests. The rooms were readied one at a time - beds chosen for real sleep, linens folded honestly, floors kept clean the way our grandmothers cleaned floors.
We wanted a place where a traveler could arrive tired and leave rested. Where breakfast is generous but never fussy. Where the hosts are present when you need them, and quietly out of the way when you don't.
What we offer is simple: comfortable rooms, a clean and calm house, a shared kitchen and lounge, a private entrance for coming and going, and a village that has been here far longer than any of us.
"The mornings here are generous. The nights are dark and full of stars. In between, the village takes care of the rest."
